Trade Deadline has come and gone

I hate to side with Beane on this one...yeah, it's great to stay pat. Keep our picks.

 

Just look at our injury plagued defense. We need all of our picks and then some. Good lord. We need fresh younger bodies.

Injuries are all the more reason to add to some help at the trade deadline. The AFC is wide open this year. Why not spend some draft picks and add a WR or some DL help. 

 

IMO there is too much focus on the future with this fan base. A lot of that is due to the drought years.

Win now.  Who knows what tomorrow brings?  For us older Bills fans especially- win now!  We aren’t going to be here forever.  I’ve been a huge Bills and Sabres fan since early 70s.  Me and my fellow older Bills/Sabres know heartbreak deeply.  Give us something!

Value worked out, won’t deny that. I think Addison was gone by that point? I believe the next WR after Kincaid was Jonathon Minho?

Jaxon Smith-Nj went 20, Quentin Johnson went 21, Zay Flowers 22, Addison 23.  There was a big drop off at WR, and Dalton was the closest thing to a top WR.  Cowboys loved Dalton, and we’re gonna draft him.  Beane traded up from 27, to 25.  Beane sent pick 27 and 130 for Dalton

Yup, that was how it panned out. Not knocking the pick for one second. He’s a solid player, was just weird to give a massive extension to a TE, draft a replacement that essentially turned a high salary guy into a role player.
