The QB apparently got a 'Dutch Uncle' speech from coaching staff, after a late score against Auburn.  By taking the knee, Florida wouldn't get the ball back, and a chance to score.

Yeah, if it’s the one I’m thinking of it was the right thing to do to ice it and win the game. It was the smart football move. 

 

 

EDIT: But if you gamble that’s the kind of thing you have to worry about. I’m glad I always stayed away from gambling. I don’t need any more bad habits.

Seeing more of the late season “Cinderella opportunities”. I know these schools cash in big, but, I don’t know….it’s absurd.

Smaller schools fund their athletic departments by being doormats for big programs in football and men's basketball.

Big time college football exhibition/charity games use to be limited to the first couple weeks. Always viewed this time of the season as being for conference games that mattered, not friendly cakewalks.
