The plan was to score a TD and leave NE little time left to score a TD of their own to win.  Obviously, the drive stalled and we kicked a FG and had to ask the defense to get the ball back which did not work.

Josh was throwing to receivers though they were covered and just wasn’t making the best decision both against Houston and now against the Pats. 
 

it’s almost like he was trying to prove to Diggs yet again that he doesn’t need him. 

This game was like the Texans game in the sense that nobody was open, and everything seemed hard on offense. The difference is Allen actually played well in this game, and couldn’t get anything going in the Texans game.

Defenses play differently than they did when he was in his first few years.  Every QB has had to adjust, including Mahomes.  Trying to force big play ball when it isn't there leads to stalled drives and turnovers, and the Bills don't have the WR talent to force it to work.  Hard to get that WR talent without becoming the Bengals, too.

The Bills should have kept throwing to the TEs who did not drop a pass.

 

I get trying to get everyone involved but NE did not do a good job vs the Bills TEs.

Allen and the Bills can end that discussion and comparison for a long time by winning this seasons Super Bowl.

 

If Allen takes out Mahomes in the post season, he joins Brady, Burrow and Hurts as the only QBs to do so.
