To maga's, it's all worth it for this:  "Cause ***** you guys that's why".  This is who they are.  This is what they want.

did the biden admin or the FCC coerce fox to fire him?  nah, it was about the massive lawsuit they lost.

or maybe it was for one of the reasons mentioned here, none of which have anything to do with the federal govt

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/why-was-tucker-carlson-fired-fox-news-b2354146.html

... So, it's possible to get fired for a litany (a word that means many different) of things.

So, Kimmel was fired because he didn't have ratings, ABC said he wanted to double down politically...

And you're upset why?

See, there are two types of liberals on here that post. Muppy, who's just a low watt bulb and we generally excuse that because she isn't expected to brighten up any room with intelligence....and you, who espouse some sort of knowledgeable type of information but it's factually inaccurate.

Do you listen to Gutfield? There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell you do, so what’s your beef. Don’t tell another lie and say that you do.

No I don't want the gov't to determine that I hope the American public will cancel him just be having enough smarts to realize he's not a comedian just a political mouth piece just like the other ass hat Cobert !!

But you can watch any kind of none comedic BS you want, I will NEVER watch someone that has a political agenda as their first priority and I don't care if its   against either side I listen to a comedian to laugh & forget the BS of the day not to here personal political opinions that are in no way funny at all .

All of these guys that think their biased political opinions are comic gold need to go sit and watch Carson, or Craig Ferguson to see how a actual comedian puts a show together to laugh at with very  little if any political content .

The government canceled him. The government decided we shouldn't be able to see him because Dear Leader had his feelings hurt.

That doesn't bother you?

he was fired the same day the FCC threatened ABC.  The commissioner publicly bragged about it and threatened more of the same to other networks.  If you can't see the connection, good luck having a successful life.

The FCC rumor was made months ago. Coincidentally the same Colbert was fired. Coincidentally the same time it became mainstream that late night TV was floundering. Coincidentally that most people realize that if he brought enough $$$ to the table they would fight the FCC ruling. Coincidentally the entire media is the Democratic mouthpiece and they still didn't know it.

Kimmel wasnt fired for the FCC. It was a scapegoat for disney to ditch him to save money.

Edit: proof.  They said the same thing about Sirius and XM joining and stern being an issue... Guess what? Still merged.

Do you think Jimmy Kimmel was losing Disney money for the past 4 years minimum?

No. A Google Ai search said the show brings in $70 million in ad revenue a year and Kimmel makes $16 million a year. I'd say both are doing good. Again you listen to that liar trump and that network that had a $767 million judgements against it for lying.

Do you honestly think that ABC didn’t consult their own Attorneys?  In a case like this, they are leaning on them.

If it was a clear violation of Freedom Of Speech, they would fight it.  Good luck having success in life not understanding something this simple.

sure they consulted attorneys who likely told them that a suit would cost millions and that the threats against local affiliates would destroy the financially if brought to fruition.  sometimes fighting back isn't worth it financially.  I also suspect they were told they had a good case.

I would expect Kimmel has sufficient cause to sue the network or will receive some very generous separation package in order to waive that right. And perhaps file legal actions against the FCC?

LOL

You are claiming this is a clear cut violation of the First Amendment.  They should win this incredibly easily.

“Hey, we have a good case.  But fire Kimmel anyway.”

Man you guys are thick.

have you ever been told by a lawyer that "it's just not worth it".  Good lawyers often tell clients this.
