Dude had no choice. Unfortunately NC has no depth or bench of Republicans. Roy Cooper will be a senator with the open spot, Gov Stein (former AG) is beloved, and behind him there is a Lt. gov fighting the battles while AG Josh Jackson is waiting for his opportunity to be Gov. NC will be blue at the state level but act red. 2028 is gonna be a battle here
