BTW- im still trying after two years to understand the Chinese culture as my wife is Chinese, but she has friends whose husbands have been in china for years and they make it work with a long visit once a year.  They worry about a lot more important things trying to get their entire family here and takes years as they hate the Chinese govt..  not the people.

 

With that said, life away front the people you love sucks, and is a sacrifice.  Im sure they know how much you care.
