Almost certainly an NFL talent. I’ve watched the kid play. He’s for real. He runs with incredible power, but he’s also very smart at picking holes and getting to the next level of defenses.

I made a thread on him a few weeks ago

Certainly still a long way from the NFL.. because you never know how kids grow over 3 to 5 years .. there's a lot of late bloomers at running back and high injury rates

Goes to a school like Ohio State he might be buried on the bench for years might never actually crack the starting lineup

He would be better off at a school like Kansas or Syracuse or Indiana

His talent is tremendous tho ... The area hasn't had a blue chip running back like that in a while

I completely agree. However, with the transfer portal the way it is, I would probably recommend that if he has an offer from Ohio State to at least try to see if he can get on the field there. If he’s good enough, he will play even as a true freshman. The buckeyes are currently rotating four different running backs, two of which are freshman. If he can’t get on the field, he can easily transfer somewhere else where he would probably get a premium look just coming from Ohio State.

That is true

And I'm not saying he doesn't have the talent to play at Ohio State because he does

I'm just thinking of the easiest path for the kid

in my mind if he goes to Indiana he could rip it up and then transfer to a big time school after he already produced

He could be the big fish in a smaller pond at some of those schools.. Ohio State he's going to be a big fish surrounded by Big fish in a huge pond

They bring in four star five-star running backs every year.. so I just think it's a lot more crowded
