The science joke here that I made among colleagues at the time was...

Of course! It is widely reported in the literature that intention to attend a social justice protest instantly results in down regulating expression of ACE2 receptors (covid cellular entry via spike protein attachment) on airway epithelial cells. Therefore no covid spread. Duh.

Likewise those with the intention of attending religious services over express ACE2 receptors. Therefore super spreaders.

Because MAGA voters are dumber than a bag of rocks and believe in chemtrails.

We cannot reason with you people. You are beyond hope. We can only hope that the ivermectin/bleach cocktails you inject yourself with kill you off faster.

Distrust in the CDC is not because of Secretary Kennedy or

President Trump.

It is because the CDC allowed teacher unions to write public

health guidance to close schools - unleashing developmental

delays and mental health problems that will take a generation

to rectify.

The CDC’s job is to control disease.

They receive an F on that mission.

America is now the sickest country in the developed world,

and had the highest rates of per capita COVID deaths because

our health institutions have so woefully failed in keeping

Americans healthy.

Americans have lost faith in the CDC because the organization

spent $900 million on an ad campaign saying the COVID

vaccine prevented transmission.

Americans have lost faith in the CDC because recent disclosures

show the organization knowingly withheld information about

myocarditis risk from the COVID vaccines.

This doesn’t take away from the dedicated employees still at the

CDC and important mission of the organization, but the media and

public health “experts” need to grow up and show some humility.

Rome is burning when it comes to American health.

President Trump and Secretary Kennedy aren’t responsible for our public health crisis.

They are responsible for identifying it and channeling the overwhelming

(and correct) cry from Americans for reform.

If CDC employees want to defend the status quo and aren’t aligned with a reform, they should resign.

Again, you cannot reason with MAGAs who believe that chemtrails exist or that the rabies vaccine gives dogs autism.

You have to ignore them and let them rot away in their own filth.

The CDC’s in-your-face double standards lost America’s trust — winning it back will be tough

By Glenn H. Reynolds

Once again, our governing “elites” are illustrating their cluelessness about just how low the public’s opinion of them has sunk, and why.

The latest example involves Demetre Daskalakis, former director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, who rage-quit his post last week after his bosses, noting the pandemic “emergency” is long over, ended special rules allowing for broad use of the COVID-19 shot.

“This is where fascism lives,” Daskalakis angrily declared as he and other Centers for Disease Control officials stalked off their jobs.

“Fascism” seems to be this administration’s most over-diagnosed ailment, applied with abandon to anything the left doesn’t like.

But Daskalakis’, uh, fevered response is exactly what you don’t want from a public health official.

In fact, given widespread public doubts about the COVID jab and the general debacle of the CDC’s COVID response, the last thing we need is a hysterical and politically extreme figure in charge of immunizations.

I’m not sure who or what you’re referencing and what exactly puts in on par with the “science” of BLM protests are fine, Sturges bikers event is not.

But tell us how we can reason with people that think there are 67 genders and that teaching 8 year old boys it’s ok if they think they’re girls - and then push them to transition.

Downplaying monkeypox risk to gay men, particularly to promiscuous gay men with a proclivity for engaging in orgies is akin to downplaying covid risks to elderly and immunocompromised populations.
