Trump protected child predator Ghislaine Maxwell - because she can destroy him

If Trump rushed to move Ghislaine Maxwell - a convicted child predator - into a cushy low-security prison with unsupervised work release, then the only real question is: what the hell does she have on him?

 

Her family already flaunted the birthday card Trump personally wrote to Epstein, proof enough of how deep those ties ran.

 

Imagine what else she’s holding - photos, names, receipts that could shred him if they surfaced.

 

And yet the self-proclaimed “law and order” crowd, the same people who howl about protecting kids and locking up predators, are perfectly fine contorting themselves into knots to justify it, because in MAGA-world, child abuse is negotiable if Dear Leader’s fingerprints are on it.

Steele didn't make things up from whole cloth. He reiterated derogatory/compromising information (yes, that includes rumors) in what looked like an official package. In short, there was nothing in Steele's "dossier" that wouldn't have been fair game in a background investigation done for anyone seeking the highest level security clearances.

I’ve actually had one for about 40 years, to include being subjected to an espionage-related poly for an SCI effort. I have a pretty good understanding of the process. I was merely commenting on you being the first in a very long time to pick up the Steele torch and run with it. I have to add to my list (that includes “Not an attorney” with the dopey bowl haircut, wired frame glasses that tuck behind the ears, and handlebar mustache with the smell of Aqua Velva seemingly all about):  I have never had a security clearance. 
 

Interesting use of this phrase though….”fair game”.  So on a national level, with the fate of free and fair elections on the line….it seems like fair game is pretty sh*tty standard and bottom of the barrel ethically.  Anyone can start a rumor, of course, and in the case of thus absurd Russia matter, all the media seems to need is a whisper of the whiff of a rumor, coupled with a disfavored candidate to run a film flam racket on the electorate.  
 

I’m more and more convinced the Russians are not really the problem we’re up against.  I recall seeing somewhere along the line that Obama/Brennan knew the Clinton campaign had their  fingerprints all over the Steele propaganda.  I guess I always knew that just about most anything was on the table to accuse the opponent of,  I just really thought that the red scare type stuff was off the table after McCarthyism.  How beneficial would it have been had Obama/ Brennan declared the relationship between Clinton/Steele in the aftermath of Trump’s election?  So much anger and mistrust was created by that unholy alliance.  But, it is what it is. 

 

Fair game now includes just about anything.  Sad.
