I don't think their defense will sustain success. It'll be partially the fault of their offense. And maybe I'm just relying on historical data, but they'll lose embarrassingly and win gloriously a few games. But when it's time to put up or shut up against top-tier opponents they struggle, and when it gets the playoffs they struggle. 

Everybody talks about how great their coaching is, everybody talks about how Lamar is the two or three-time MVP or something like that, everybody talks about all of these names on this team and it doesn't mean a damn thing. 

Perhaps they do hoist the Lombardi trophy this year, then they can get some credit. But for the last six or seven years all they've ever done is embarrass themselves when it counts.

I will not be thrilled if Jackson gets a ring before Allen. The ridicule of Allen will be ridiculous despite Jackson being surrounded by much better talent.

I hear you as Josh has handily gotten it done in the playoffs to make, if not potentially win a Super Bowl. However, it is the ultimate team game unfortunately.

Their defense has a bunch of JAGs in the front 7 with a long in the tooth Roquan Smith. In the backfield they have Jaire Alexander who's not *****. Marlon Humphrey who is underappreciated but not anything more than above average, Kyle Hamilton who is really good but also hyped because he carries the hype from his draft rating.

 

Their defense is seriously overrated, and oddly underrated at the same time. In ,2024 these players gelled tremendously to be an effective and efficient unit.

 

It'll be tough to reproduce that losing their 2nd best CB, and get that same over amped production.

 

On offense I respect their OL but it's a product of Jackson being mobile and defenses countering Henry.  Zay Flowers is very capable but oft injured. Hopkins didn't amount to much. Bateman is a good 3rd WR. Andrews is aging. Likely is a good 2nd TE. But, it all runs through Jackson. He's a deck chair in moments. Make or break. Because the Bills have their number when it matters I don't really factor their offense as that important. 

 

Their team has talent, almost all of it on offense.

Who absolutely is the difference maker for their Offense. Henry just made Jackson's job a lot easier , along with being a true threat. To the Bills at least lol
