I think their markets have spoken. Adams has had a borderline HOF career, and is a boundary WR. He’s also a household name that is a draw for fans. I think that explains the contract discrepancy. But in terms of production, Adams was the #1 target last year, catching the ball from a HOF QB (albeit not in his prime), and had 40 more targets than Shakir with 200 more yards and 4 more TDs. I’m pretty confident their production will be very similar next year. Quote
