I struggle to support Pegula when he has turned the Sabres into the biggest joke in professional sports. It’s a complete, utter toxic disaster from top to bottom.

You have to wonder if they are trolling the fans and dragging their sacks across our faces on purpose.

The television coverage is more than complementary and the messaging is clearly heavily filtered.  It is to the point where I worry for the sanity of those who have to cover the team for them every day.

Somebody mentioned on SS a moment I totally forgot.

Pegula called for more positive media around the Sabres super early in his tenure with the NHL. Citing that if the reporters propped the team up they would play better, support the team like he supports his daughter.

It's hard to separate the "Beane is the most sensitive GM in the NFL" thread from an owner who is firing producers because of "nEgAtIvE" coverage in the worst drought in NHL history. It's historical.

I think one hand washes the other on this issue.

The biggest difference is Beane knows what he is doing. Terry doesn't. Terry deserves a lot of the blame for the Sabres being a clown show. Beane has built a good roster combined with an elite level QB that is a top contender in the AFC every year.
