I think we learned last election that Ron was a bit too much of a dud to get the nod. I would have preferred him too, but I can’t imagine he’ll ever beat out Vance. 
 

All this thread bump did was remind me how ***** stupid Florida for lifting all mandates on school vaccines.  For health reasons?  Nope.  Just political.  Beautiful weather and homes, stupid state.

i know.  i love florida, but it's pretty hard to argue that there was no reason at all for lifting the school mandates.  no one was forcing  your kids to get vaccinated.  they just couldn't go to the public school system if they did.  just like in ny.  it was political, and not in the best interest of health.

There has been a discussion of abolishing property taxes in FL and I keep seeing people against it because it will help boomers. The taxes are highest on new home buyers since the taxes can only go up a little every year regardless of value.
