Their GM has to go and they have to ditch guys like O’Neill, O’Hearn and maybe Mountcastle to free up playing time for their younger guys. Look at Stowers and he was like their ninth best guy. Meanwhile Kjerstad, Mayo and others are rotting away while Holliday, Rutschman Cowser, Henederson and to a degree Westburg are stalling. It’s Tim Murray plus. Quote

Kjerstad plays twice every five days which is malpractice. I have no idea what happened to Rutschman but whatever it is…..not good. Instead of trading one to Seattle for a pitcher when it made sense for both teams they’re rolling out Kyle Gibson every fifth day. They should just take the L and let everyone rest for a day. Quote

They should have traded Mountcastle last year to Seattle , agree. Instead they traded Stowers and Norby to Miami for Rogers who is a huge bust. I blame Hyde for not transitioning these kids into the lineup. they should saved their money and made Heston Kjerstad right fielder. Bassilo should be on the 25 man roster as back up to (replacement) for Rutch. Why they signed Gary Sanchez is beyond me. I could go on and on Quote

I could go on and on Ramon Laureano isn’t terrible as a player but the O’s signing him was Ike an April Fool’s joke. Nice line for Gibson today. Quote

He makes Alejandro Kirk look like Aaron Judge. This is fake right? They just plucked a Top Gun fan out of the crowd right? 1 Quote

Mike in Horseheads Posted Wednesday at 08:45 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 08:45 PM Hooray! The 8 games losing streak ends in 11 innings on a Adley Rutchman 3 run shot Quote
SinceThe70s Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Two interesting plays in the Mets/Dodgers game tonight. 1) Mets bobble a catch in CF when Soto and Tyrod Taylor collide, runners on 1st and 2nd advance on the SF. Mets lose challenge that the runner on 2nd left early before the ball was caught. By rule runner can leave as soon as the ball is touched, not when it's caught. Never knew that rule. 2) Met is thrown out at the plate on a SF but call is overturned because Dodger 3B intentionally obstructed with the runners view of the catch. Quote
