Obviously their music was part of the backdrop of the times, but it was never really my thing. While I never went out of my way to hear their music, I’d love to see their story if it’s easily accessible. I think even the casual observer will enjoy it. The film is truly about their roots and what inspired them in their early days before LZ. Never before heard interviews from Bonham, and it's fascinating watching Page, Plant and Jones looking back at themselves as teens / young adults. And watch the volume at the start. In true Zeppelin fashion it starts with a sonic assault. Edited yesterday at 05:13 PM by BillsFanNC 1 1 Quote
US Egg Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Watched the movie. Found Page and Plant to be a bit full of themselves and a little tedious to listen to. …..because they were ***** awesome and know it! Loved the movie! Realized I’m still a ZepHead at ❤️. 2 Quote
Doc Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Watched it yesterday. I hope they do another installation called "Being Led Zeppelin." 1 Quote

Would be great, but I doubt you'd get Plant to be involved in that one. I'm sure he only agreed to be involved in this one because it focused on how Zep came to be and wasn't about rehashing their career....again. Quote

He kept mentioning how Bonzo's wife kept telling him not to get involved with him. And you could say she was right considering the outcome... Quote

Continuing with how IV, Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti came about and went down and life during that epochal era would, I think, have a somewhat broader appeal as this is the era I think most fans discovered Zeppelin in real time. I was about 14 when Zep IV was released. Something I didn’t realize and learned from ‘Being Zep’ was how accomplished and coveted Page and Jones were as studio musicians for such a wide variety of music and being so young at the time. Jones being an arranger of mega hits was truly impressive. ‘Goldfinger’ and ‘To Sir With Love’? I mean c’mon….🤯 Quote
