So i got a throwback McGahee jersey and of course something spilled on it immediately.

Is there anything i should know about laundering it?

I was gonna wash it cold/gentle cycle.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

How can there be such a thing as a "throwback" jersey for a guy that has played only 1 year?

The term. "throwback", is a strained usage in the first place...old or antique are more appropriate - unless one wishes to commerate a certain playoff game.
