Oh yeah, that's a kicker I want

Kicker Justin Langan will apparently have a tryout for the Bills on June 17. Poor guy  is getting married in early July. Here's what he has to say about his honeymoon vs. being on a team roster:

“We’re both hoping that nothing interferes with that,” Langan said. “She is a little worried that something will happen during our honeymoon, but she has been a good sport about it. It would be nice if nothing conflicted in July.”

That boy's got a fire burning in his belly. Unfortunately it appears to be indigestion. :flirt:

Hitting some 'tang and gettin ball and chained are not one in the same. The chance to play in the NFL???? That's Lottery Winner-type odds right there. And with that comes much more tang.

Who cares? He's a kicker, and he realistically has very little chance of being looked at as more than camp fodder. Kickers don't really need "fire in the belly," just a powerful leg and accuracy.

I don't see anything wrong with the statement. Football is just a game after all; to some, just a job. If you ask most players what the most important thing in their life is and they'll say their family.

It's not like the guy is saying he doesn't want to play for us or wouldn't show up. He's just saying he hopes it doesn't get conflicted with his wedding plans. His odds of making the team are slim, so i'd say his wedding is probably more important.
