forget drafting these guys.  Bean can't find them.  Get one in FA.  Prob easier to find an impactful 1T, or OG than Edge rusher anyway.

Of course this is the one that the Patriots, Titans and Ravens have bent at one time or another in random games. Most likely given the fact you are playing in the only and marquee playoff game with everyone watching, you wouldn’t  want to tempt referree fate in a hostile stadium  (and the commissioner power  to overturn  the game) with blantant holds like that.  
 

Also, given that something similar hasn’t happened since 2019, it was likely one of those internal memo/point of emphasis situations where teams were told to cut it out or else face real consequences.

Exactly. They were protecting against a TD when they should have been playing them much tighter.  WTF is Wallace 5 yards wide of Kelce protecting the sideline? They had three time outs and not enough time to even use the sideline.  

McDermott got schooled again by Reid.  The best playoff performance by a Bills QB was ruined by a HC that preaches continuous improvement but doesn't improve himself.

Yeah but even that new rule lets you do it once. It only applies to repeated infractions. So the Bills could have done it on the first play, taking a five yard penalty and running off five seconds or so. Then the Chiefs would have had to make a huge gain to get in FG range.
