Suuuuuuuuurrrre it would 🙄. Not gonna argue that one here, go run it by a decent epidemiologist. It would cost the NFL significant money is what testing everyone, every day, would do. The NFL is saying to the players "Go back to last year's proven-to-work protocols" - except for that one critical piece that identifies an infected player or staff member and keeps them out of the building in the morning so they don't infect 4 or 6 people if their infection control isn't perfect. Mayfield and the NFLPA are logically right to say you can't remove a key piece of last year's proven-to-work protocols and claim they're still proven-to-work protocols. And that data, implemented mid season, may show that half of the teams in the NFL are like the Browns and Rams right now. The League doesn't want that. Very doubtful given that everyone tests every week plus whenever they have symptoms Allen Sills has said that 20% of the vaccinated players test negative and return in less than 10 days That means that 80% of them don’t test negative within 10 days The clear implication is, with the NFL testing at least 1x a week, they’re detecting most of the infections - just not necessarily before the infected players have a chance to walk around the clubhouse and “share” for up to 6 days. 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
