Should TSW charge a membership fee?

Recommended Posts

Lots of people confused about "socialism" and "communism" who also wouldn't pay money to post here. Just curious if anyone on PPP lives up to their stated ideals in any capacity.

Capitalists & Libertarians — if you were running TSW, what would you charge for a membership fee?

Do you think SDS should charge money? What would you pay for a TSW account?

Yes and the fee shall be progressive, annual income based.

Under $50K per year = free

$50K - $100K = $1,000 yearly fee

$100K - $250K = $3,000 yearly fee

$250K - $500K = $9,000 yearly fee

$500K - $1,000K = $25,000 yearly fee

Over $1 million = $50,000 yearly fee plus 5% of earnings over $2 million

Additionally, all members earning over $250K shall be subject to a fee of .39% of income additional fee

Now if income earners over $100K don't renew their membership fees, the lost revenue shall be added to the membership fees of those earning under $100K to make up the difference.

Sounds pretty equitable! I like it.

From a socialism standpoint a fee would be inequitable. Only the rich could join.

From a communist agitator standpoint people like Agent Rhino would have their handler/ pay for it

From capitalist standpoint Reality could have advertising on his byline or the Trump banner could be on the heading.

So confusing.

ACTUALLY

When reading some of the position on this site we all pay the price.

PS when SDS started some folks did chip in as friends...seems like a nice approach that has been lost...
