Been fooling around trying to find a way to get Waze to display on Carplay, and came across this app and writeup http://www.redmondpie.com/enable-google-maps-waze-or-any-app-on-carplay-heres-how/ Now I do have a couple of concerns, number 1 being how do I jailbreak my iPhone? Can I pay someone to do that? Second, this is a sentence in that article..NGXPlay can be downloaded for free from the BigBoss repository in Cydia..BigBoss..Cydia??? I know I can google these up and get a sense for what they are, just wanted to see if anyone here had personal experience and (yes chef) advise. Thanks in advance! Took them forever to get Prime Video on Apple TV, assume it will take same amount of outrage to get Waze or Google maps on Carplay. In the meantime, I am wondering if the jailbroken phone is worth it just for this. I am sure some supergeek classmate of my son can get er done, just dont know if it is worth it. Anyway, it Can't be any harder than rooting an Android. Which leaves me with... Stop messing around w/the iToys and get something that gives you flexibility.
