Belichik has certainly misfired on some high profile draft picks through the years, but if there is one position he knows it's QB and they've had a wealth of riches at the position with guys like Hoyer and Cassell, who at the very least have been top flight backups and marginal starters during their careers. Brissett likely doesn't have a future in Indy because of Luck but will certainly get a shot somewhere else. Still not sure about Garoppolo but there is a reason why Belichik wouldn't trade him even though teams apparently made substantial offers including the Browns. Indy could ride out Brissett for a few more seasons. He is only on his second year of his rookie contract, and is basically costing them nothing. NE messed up trading him away. (This is like rating cold medicine for when someone gets sick). Too many variables on offense and defense and with coaches decisions, game planning, etc if these guys ever play.
