Bills set sights on Watt with banged up OL: http://www.wgr550.com/Bills-set-sights-on-Watt-with-banged-up-OL/22235419

With arguably the best defensive player in the NFL coming to Buffalo Sunday to face the Bills offense, now isn’t the best time to have both starting offensive tackles limited or not practicing at all. But that’s exactly the situation Rex Ryan’s team is faced with in the middle of the week.

Of course, there are still several days left before the Bills face the Houston Texans, but left tackle Cordy Glenn has a back issue that limited him at practice, and right tackle Seantrel Henderson was out with an illness. Texans All-Pro defensive lineman JJ Watt leads the league in sacks with 13.5 sacks. He can single-handedly take over and dominate games. He moves around the defensive line, sometimes lining up at defensive end and sometimes at defensive tackle. That’s part of the challenge facing the Bills offensive line and coaches this week.

Come on people. Use the eye test. This simply isn't a playoff team. That being said I'm hoping for the best this week. I'm just having a difficult time not seeing more losses in the future regardless of this week's outcome. Even with a win this week, this years Bills will find a way to lose another game. You can't just mark wins on a schedule based on opponent.

Is any team in the NFC East or AFC South a "Playoff Team"???

interestingly the eye test doesn't have any of the wild card contenders looking like playoff teams. They all have some flaws whether it's QB, defense, etc. That's why they are all 6-5 and 5-6.

Hughes: We’re still working with this playbook

Last week head coach Rex Ryan admitted he made an error in trying to combine some of the successful principles of Buffalo’s defense last year in with his own defensive scheme. During the bye week he decided to go exclusively with his style of defense. With those adjustments the players on defense claim they’re still adjusting to the new scheme with a little over a month left in the season.
