Punching Bag
Just put a hair code rule in place. Last thing we need is another thing for the commissioner and NFLPA to go to court over.
The Wiz
I'd say no about the jersey part but I'd think the long hair has to effect your play. Assuming you can still tackle people by their hair I would say yes, it does effect their play.
John Gianelli
No. That's all I got. I've always enjoyed your responses, Chandler#81. Plus, he was one of my favorites. Remember his catch in the final WMS game against the Lions? Regarding the names, I think it's more about an aversion to change rather than the logic of it. If the names had always been below the numbers and somebody proposed today to put them above the numbers, everyone would say, "No, besides, you wouldn't be able to read them if the guys have long hair!" Webster Guy
Not sure about nfl, but i wish all college teams had players names on the back. Ive heard some college teams dont do it because supposedly it sends a message that you're somehow more of a team player if you dont have your name on your jersey. Load of crap. I like to learn the names of the players on the field. Much tougher to do without the letters.
