eball Posted May 5, 2015 Share Posted May 5, 2015 So a lot most if not all of the criticism of the trade is coming from a lot of hindsight. The 9th and 19th pick plus a 4th rounder was a steep price to trade up just 5 spots. But the team got a really good player to do so. If Sammy gives the team 8 great seasons no one is going to care that the price to get him was a bit steep. Which is why I will not read another article about the trade or 2014-15 draft "grades" until 2-3 years from now. Next year we can review the 2013 draft.
