Punching Bag Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 Ironically he was originally signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2006. If it was known by the poster that Bironas passed away, regardless of the reason, then IMO it is poor taste to make that type of comment. Talk of Detroit signing a kicker, knowing that the kicker is no longer alive, I guess I just don't understand. I'm not condoning Bironas' actions, as far as the drinking and driving aspect, and it is fortunate that nobody else was injured or killed.
