...C.J. Brooks of Maryland. This was a little bit of a surprise, but TD is always full of surprises. The Bills will also be keeping Jonas Jennings and acquiring Tra Thomas from the Eagles. Brooks is 6’5, 320, and runs the 40 in 5.4 seconds. He is expected to add a mean streak to the Bills' line.

With their own Round-2 pick, the Bills picked LB Rian "Goo" Wallace from Temple. He's 6'4", 250, and "he resembles some of the team’s defensive ends, yet possesses the quickness to drop back in coverage and wreak havoc when he blitzes. When the Owls needed a defensive leader last fall to fill the void left by Dan Klecko’s graduation, Wallace stepped forward with 148 tackles and 19 ½ tackles for loss, good for 11th best in college football."

DT Mike Patterson from USC was a steal in Round 3, says TD. He required 2-man coverage in the Senior Bowl.

The Bills looked for a complement to Willis MacGahee in Round 4, and found a good one in RB Darren Sproles of Kansas. Kansas State's career rushing leader (3,661 yards on 571 carries) was the national leader in 2003 with 1,986 rushing yards, the tenth-highest ever in NCAA history.

Better receiving and downfield blocking were acquired with the Bills' 5th Rounder, WR Chauncey Stovall, Fla. St. He's 6' 2" 210, and a superb blocker.

Donahoe appealed to the local folk by picking up a Safety, Kick Returner, and backup RB from nearby market Syracuse in Round 6. Diamond Ferri, a former high school running back with a whopping 14.4 yards per carry average and 240 yards in the state championship game, found himself behind Walter Reyes, and switched to Strong Safety as a junior. He also played in punt protection, kickoff, kickoff coverage and PAT/FG defense special teams units.

Great imagination. We aren't getting Tra Thomas from the Eagles. That's not happening. But your draft was entertaining. Your third round pick sounds like a major steal. If we were able to get him then would we need Pat Williams as well?
