My phone is old and only has 8GB total memory. My question is once I download the ios7, will I have used up that 2.9 GB of data and can't use it for anything else or does it just erase my old operating system and I will have roughly the same data space as before? It'll tell you how much ram you have left and how much you're taking up with apps and pics of your favorite porn star models. But now I have 28 apps saying they have updates available - they've been optimized for the new OS. You get some free apps - like Apple's version of MS Office i.e. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.
