Started really slow, but like most Whedon projects the character development and plot really picked up about half way through the season. Not a "great" show, but definitely entertaining. Agree. I almost gave up on it after four episodes but I'm glad I didn't. It got better as the season went along. By the end of the season I actually looked forward to it each week. They should have waited a year to start the show. They were handcuffed because they had to wait for Captain America 2 to be released. Once that happened, the show took off.
