I'm not saying he's a longtime answer but at this point, he can't be worse than Fitz. He'll be way better than any other rookie in this year's draft and I don't see us making any blockbuster QB trades anytime soon. So let's just start TJax and move on. Not a bad price to pay for a starter. Any thoughts? Hell, throw in Fitz as well...... What kind of mobility does he have? Enough to run the Nate Hackett offense? Let me know theres a hell ton of more evidence why I hate fitz....now for nick foles...its too early to say that he has a strong arm or accuracy wtf??? you can tell if a Qb has a strong arm just by watching him throw a dam football....as for the accuracy issue...he has made throws in stride 10,20,30,40, even 50 yards down the field during his college career and the short period of starts he had last season with the eagles that shows his accuracy and touch...in where fitz has an unreal hard time even throwing the ball 10+ yards accurately..its embarrassing And again, even after I consistently make cracks about you and your hatred of Fitz and jokes about your man crush on Barkley and you don't disappoint. He's nothing more than a man crush that unintelligent football fans get all excited over and want to give up 1st round picks for. The OP said a 3rd. I'm not taking away from that, but I'd be willing to guess you would offer up a 1st. Oh!!! But how would we still be able to draft your future husband Barkley if we give up the 1st for Foles? Just that in a matter of 10 days he's managed to average 10 posts a day, yet claims he has a life and doesn't sit in front of a computer all day. However, anytime I make a comment about his posts, he's right there to throw in his reply immediately. Which I have no problem with. Some of his posts are not bad, most are about how Futz sucks, we should make a trade for Mallet, trade for Smith, trade for Foles, draft Barkley, burn Fitz at the stake, etc... A few things here: if Foles is as liked so much by his coaching staff, then why in the hell would they accept a 3rd round pick for him? There is no way in hell the Pats would trade Mallet to a division rival unless he sucks and in that case were not very smart. I also would NEVER give Billy B more draft picks than he already has every single year. Barkley and all his WRs have proven nothing in the NFL (obviously, since they haven't been in the league yet) but to claim they are the best and only players worth taking at their position is absolutely ridiculous. There will be a few QBs that will produce at the next level, if Barkley is one of those, is unknown. Personally, after the last decade+ of USC QBs that have come out, I wouldn't trust it. It seems like everyone of them that come out has broken the records of the one that preceded them, and yet, they are just as bad or worse in the pros. There's something in the water down there in SoCal and I'd rather not take the chance. But if we draft Barkley, ill still back up the fact that hell be better than Fitz. I Didnt start it with calling anyone names. I was simply making an observation that almost every post I read of his previously had some major Barkley love, Foles love, Mallet love, or Fitz hate. It was a simple observation and until he gets more posts under his belt (again, not another knock on inexperience in this board) and shows that he can talk about more than just his hatred for 1 player or love for another, and doesn't stop with ThE TwItTeR lIkE pOsTs, then I will read with caution.
