I created a guide to a great Bills weekend. Whether you're coming with friends or your significant other. This should be helpful. Give me a shout if you have questions. I'd post the whole thing here, but I'm limited on pics. There's a lot more pictures and info here: http://www.thekickisgood.com/?p=6381 So you want to come to Buffalo for a Bills Game? Good Choice! There’s one neighboring town has everything you need Nice Hotels Great Restaurants Multiple Watering Holes Lots of things to do The Best Wings in Buffalo A Grocery Store and a Mighty Taco And that is East Aurora, NY. East Aurora was the first home of the Buffalo Bills as it hosted the Bills Training Camps from 1960-1963. The Bills Locker Rooms were at what is now the East Aurora Middle School on Main Street and the team had to keep at least one football player on the roster that also knew how to drive a school bus, so he could haul the team to Knox Farm and back every day. True Story. And to this day, East Aurora remains the classic small American Town–full of interesting shops, bars, and restaurants. Where to stay: East Aurora has 2 very nice hotels: The Hampton Inn by Hilton. Clean, friendly, efficient, and affordably priced: You can book a room or get more info here. The Roycroft Inn: The Roycroft Inn was once the Centerpiece of the Roycroft Arts & Crafts Movement led by Elbert Hubbard. Some even say it is haunted. I’ve heard some stories and I kind of believe them–so if you’re bringing your significant other and looking for a historic, beautiful, quirky hotel–go for it! - See more at: http://www.thekickisgood.com/?p=6381

TheKickIsGood replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm going and I'll be cheering my ass off for the Bills. We'll be OK -
7 weeks from right now I'll be standing in the Parking Lot grilling something getting ready for the opener. I'm counting down to the season again one day at a time trying to figure out the best player ever to wear each Bills Number: http://www.thekickisgood.com/?cat=88

Bills NFL Yearbook 2012 on ESPN2
TheKickIsGood replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for the note. I heard it will go from 2:30am to 2:34am. I love these. After evry one I ever watched I've thought "How did this team NOT win the SUper Bowl last year?" NFL Films does top-notch work -
I'll be there the first night. And at least one more time. They are all pretty early this year.

Countdown to the 2013 Bills Season

Only 82 days until the 2013 Season. Is Dorin Dickerson the best player ever to wear the #82 for the Bills? http://www.thekickisgood.com/?p=5755 -
Hey everyone, last year I did a Countdown to the 2012 season and we talked about it daily on the Stadium Wall. This year I'm doing the same thing, but now I'm trying to identify which players were the best ever to wear the the different Bills Jersey Numbers. I'm about two weeks in, so if you'd like to follow along for the rest of the offseason--it should be fun. TKIG's 2013 Countdown: http://www.thekickisgood.com/?cat=88 Mike The Kick Is Good

Geno Smith has a chance to be the Bills QB next year, but he's also taking A LOT of flack about not being as good as other recent top QB prospect. I asked Ryan Talbot to help me boil down all the numbers and get to the bottom of this. http://www.thekickisgood.com/?p=5250 I'd be very happy with Geno as the Bills QB. I know the ceiling of the guys on the roster now, and we're not going to win anything with them. I'm posting this link not to try to steal traffic away from TBD, but instead to share some info I think fellow Bills fans will be interested in. Thanks.

Cheesecake analogy, QB talk

Great reporting Florio. Top notch stuff there. His toupee must be on too tight again. -
Trade with Rams could be a win for both teams
TheKickIsGood replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like it. The Bills still have a lot of holes and getting three Top 50 players would help tremendously. QB, LB, and WR could all be addressed. -
I'd take FutureBillsGM draft

Marrone reminds me of a young Tom Coughlin. Tom Coughlin is an NFL winner. Like.

Doug Whaley signs contract extension

This is a good move all around. -
Hopefully a premonition about Jairus Byrd...
TheKickIsGood replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you often have premonitions? I have a lot of wacky Bills dream too. But if you have them often, I'll go with it. It makes sense that a Rochester reporter would break it. -
Mayock is OK, he was too high on Matt Ryan for my liking--because they were both Boston College guys it seemed fishy. The real thing is that none of these guys know about QBs--even NFL GMs make horrible mistakes. As for the orignal Eagles question. EJ Manuel from Florida State really look like he skill set and QB body type that Chip Kelly had at Oregon. I'm anxious to see how he builds his system in the NFL.

Results through the first 5 games: http://www.thekickisgood.com/?cat=87 Some surprises for sure. And please dont' think I'm spamming TBD. If I ever post links to timeshare rentals or emale enhancement pills, yes please come after me but I just want to share the stuff I'm writing on the Bills that I get paid nothing for. It keeps me sane. Thanks for listening. Go Bills.

TKIG “Second String” Super Bowl Spectactular
TheKickIsGood replied to TheKickIsGood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ever want to see a Lombardi Trophy up close? There's also a VERY good chance that Tony Martin Awards on Harlem Rd. is going to let me borrow the Lombardi Trophy they created for this event. I tell you, for this night only it will be just like we won the Super Bowl in real life!
