Fact is, Fitz is never going to win a game when he is given too many chances to throw. He will find a way to make a mistake. Yeah the d was terrible, but without the turnovers, the Titans are only scoring 21. That's not a huge deficit. But the D was worse. That's the point that seems to be lost in the din. Fitz looks half decent against the crap teams and looks like crap against the half decent teams. I think the D can get better, Fitz, I doubt it. Gailey isn't an idiot (though that may be up for debate still), we're throwing there b/c we NEED that first down. Do people honestly think this defense wouldn't have given up an 80yd drive to win the game if we punted? the titans wouuld've probably done it in about 6 plays at the rate we give up yards.. His integrity of me before everyone else is great in theory and should be used to hold off the rapid media and fans after isolated incidents, but the time has come for him to make changes. There is no way that, if the D and Fitz stay this way, leading to many more losses, that he keeps his job. He just won't do what needs to be done and it's going to cost him.
