Glad the punting problem is solved.

Next week Lindell will be gone because he's only kicked two field goals in five games. That little bit of output doesn't warrant having two kickers so Potter gets the nod.

You've got a defense struggling and an inconsistent QB, so getting rid of Moorman was paramount on Buddy's list of things to do. That's the mentality lately at OBD. But it'll be the status quo until season's end because Nix won't fire Chan and Chan won't relieve Wannstedt of his duties. So unless this team turns things around before the bye, get used to another losing season and the rest of the home games blacked out.

I was worried the team would implode after losing such a key lockerroom leader. It's worse than I thought.

Making light of the punter change is a cheap shot in my opinion. It's much easier to plug in a new P and upgrade the position on the fly than it is the QB, HC or Def. Coord. positions.

You upgrade where you can, when you can. Does it fix much in the big picture? No, but that's no reason not to make the move. Powell is doing better than Moorman did.

Based on what we are seeing on the field it now appears more likely that Moorman was speaking up about internal team issues and was punished for doing so.

He was senior man and captain and likely challenged coaches and other players....ignoring him has put us where we are.

Just sayin....cutting a captain and punter 3 games in is fishy...if it smells like fish...

Moorman played himself out of this roster by playing lousy...plain and simple...And Powell was ready to be signed by some punter needy teams. The team had to think for the long term....Right now Punting nor the captaincy provided by the Punter is the least of the problems for this team. There are still many veteran players in this team including Williams, Kelsay and Mario who can provide the voice.

Wow, you are making quite a leap here. Have any evidence to support this? Especially when Moorman himself said earlier in the week that he thought the Bills were looking to make a change for awhile?
