I don't believe I'm implying that. In your scenario they would fall into Group 1. They never became Free Agents and were extended before they became free agents.

I think your point is technically their contract expired in Feb and they were signed in early March before Free Agency. I was putting those players into Group1.

 

Then why are you freaking out about signing them now as opposed to next feb?

I'm not freaking out.

People are freaking out when I say that There are very few higher priorities for Buddy Nix than extending Levitre

Why my comment solicited the reactions it solicited is beyond me.

Now that it's agreed these two guys need to be resigned, anybody have any numbers in mind?

 

Personally I think we might be looking at Weddle type of money for Byrd which I'm fine with. I'd like to see a Stevie type deal. 5yrs 35mil

 

No idea for Levitre. He's not getting Nicks, Grubbs, Mankins type of cash but he won't be cheap either.
