Interactive Mock Draft - Bills are On the Clock

Hey guys, I don't know if you may remember from last year or not when we ran the Interactive Mock Draft where the team forums of each team got to vote on which player their team should take.

Well we are doing it again this year, and us Bills are on the clock. For most of these votes, it's been pretty cut and dry but this pick is going to be interesting. Lots of potential options here, I'm curios to see how you guys vote.

You can cast your vote for who you want your team to pick here:

Interactive Mock Draft

And if you explain why with a brief short description, I will pick the best one and publish it along with the pick in the results section!

I can't believe Kuechly has that high of the vote.

I would reckon that he is about 24 on One Bills Drive Big Board. No way Buddy Nix is going to take a back up MLB with #10 overall pick.

Shep is the starter.

It makes zero sense. I thought Bills fans were smarter than that.

Notice the States where Reiff is getting the votes? Most are FAR from NY State...NY is going for Kuechly... B-)

Kuechly would start at OLB in the Bills 4-3...Not sure which side, but whatever side Morrison was supposed to start at... B-)

I like Kuechly but I do not think he is the game changer that a Patrick Willis type linebacker is and to pick a linebacker that high he must be a game changer. And I believe Reiff is only ever going to be a great backup swing tackle or a starting guard. So with Floyd off the board the only option left to take is Gilmore. I would really try my best to trade back though if I could.

I took Gilmore in this Poll...And that's kind of who I'm hoping The Bills Draft...I really like the idea of adding Gilmore to this Defense...But I'm not a Kuechly hater either...I think he would start from day #1 at OLB in our 4-3, and he would be rock solid, if not spectacular... B-)

Jonathan Martin is, according to that site's mock draft, the best pure pass protector with a higher ceiling than Reiff. If that is the case, the Bills take Martin. A million times we've heard it's a pass first league, and if Fitz is given just a little more time, the whole offense will be better, including the run game. Even if D Bell returns, we need OTs. Chris Hairston was a good 4th round pick. He has a place on this team. It would just be nice to have a great pass protector so that Stevie and whoever is lined up opposite Stevie will have time to run their routes to get open.

In Buddy We Trust.

kuechly is miles better than sheppard. if we're going BPA, i don't know what planet you're on that you think nix will have him at 24. he's one of the top 7-8 prospects in the draft. absolute stud.

I forgot the midround pick that was selected to play 34 is now the unquestioned MLB. It would be an upgrade, but I'm not sure he's top ten on our board. I'd guess closer to 10 than 24

I have a feeling in my bones that the bills will take DeCastro.

About a month ago I thought it would be LT, because the genius of Buddy/Chan is that they dont bluff. They do what they say they're gonna do and it works like a triple reverse jedi thing. They gave off vibes that they were looking at LT if there was one available that fit the value. Since quality LTs usually arent found in the later rounds, and since they added Mario, that left LT.

But now I think that they dont feel the LT value is there at 10. I think they are serious about putting together a few BPA drafts and then seeing where we are at. I think the strong consensus is that DeCastro will be the BPA at 10.

Another TBD poster said that if they take DeCastro, they will kick Levitre to LT. Seems plausible, and my bones are telling me to prepare for it.

I'm glad to remind you of the #69 overall pick in the 2011 draft

Want I don't get is do people want Kulchey to be the pick or do they honestly believe the FO will make that pick.

I just can't see Buddy picking Kulchey over Martin. Kulchey over Floyd even Kulchey over Adams.

I can see even DeCastro higher on their board than Kulchey and I don't they take an interior lineman that high.

So is it the Bills fans want this pick because he is the first lB on the list or that they think the FO will make that pick?

I think that sounds like a terrible long term plan, Levitre was below average to bad at LT.

Levitre makes an average LOT in the NFL. He is potentially an All-Pro guard.

Yeah I'm sticking with the belief that Nix does what he says he is gonna do and drafts two tackles.

The idea that Levitre will move outside to tackle is a bizarre fan myth, IMO.
