BuffaloBillsSD Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Jammal Charles, Frank Gore, Matt Forte, Jones-Drew, Mendenhall, Adrian Foster, McFadden, LeSean McCoy, Micheal Turner, Steven Jackson are all clearly better and Felix Jones, Cedric Benson, Blount, Deangelo Williams are about his equals. My best friend is a die hard 49er fan. He'd trade frank gore and picks for Freddie in a second. IMO, fred is a better all around back than : gore, forte, mendenhall (easily) and McFadden. Easily better than jones and benson (can't believe you included him). If Fred was playing on the chargers or the packers, he'd be a top 10 back on your cheat sheet, possibly 6 or 7. He makes the most out of every run has terrific hands and is effective when asked to block. The knock on him is his lack of speed. The same speed that allowed him to school 6 steelers on his way outrunning the DBs enroute to his long td run last year. He doesn't have elite speed, he's far from slow. It seems as if he makes the first defender miss on every run and has one of the best stiff arms in the game. You don't give him enough credit. Ps: you said cedric benson was as good as Fred.
