DanInUticaTampa Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 I'd be surprised if Herzlich comes here. He will probably get a ton of offers. Though I was surprised last year when we nabbed Coleman. So I guess it's not impossible.

So I guess it's not impossible. should have drafted him in the 7th ahead of Jasper who we had to have so he didn't get away, we should have done the same. You can't tell me a top ten player who is making a full recovery isn't better than some CB who is going to be on the practice squad.

Yeah, I liked the draft addressing the D-line with Dareus and getting 2 LBs, but being Jauron-like with 3 DBs & then the project in Jasper, I would've preferred trying to focus on other need positions/roles like pass rush and O-line. Using a 5th rounder on Davis, is he really that good of a prospect over NFL or undrafted free agents available?

I actually like the Jasper project but would have preferred a rush OLB like Brooks Reed or Ricky Elmore along with Herzlich than 3 DBs.
