Sad to see them go but it sounds like they've outlived their usefulness. A year ago I watched Endeavor take off - one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. One quick-thinking man named Neil Monday captured the experience on his iPhone. Wacka Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I found out yesterday that I'm going to the Fort Myers area Wednesday. My business partner said we needed some R&R. We had some extra money so we're going there to drink and veg out in the sun until 3/8. The shuttle is scheduled to land at 12:45 PM on 3/7 so we should be able to hear the sonic booms. One more CONFIRMED mission in March, there has to be congressional approval for STS-135, and they still have to figure out what they are going to fly. Otherwise, Endeavour is the last. As someone who follows this very, very closely, it couldn't have come sooner. Another disaster is inevitable if they keep flying shuttle...
