He looked like an all pro blew the Bills off the ball on running plays. He was solid in Pass protection. If the Bills would have signed him the pressure up the middle would have been less. That was a serious personnel error on the part of the front office. This was a close game at the end a little better protection and the Bills might have pulled it out.

Dolphins averaged 3.7 YPC against a team with 1 real LB playing after half time, and players out of position all over the place, and couldn't even close the game out by running it down our throats when they had the chance. He couldn't have played that well.

If it wasn't for the couple of times that he was right in front of the camera when tehy broke the huddle, and his one penalty, I would have forgot that he even played for Miami. He didn't play horrible, but he doesn't deserve the current praise as if he was the reason why they won.

He was an o-linemen with serious mental/aggression issues that was brought in to fill the roster last year. He didn't want to be here, and the new coaching staff weren't impressed enough with him that they felt he was worth fighting to bring back in.

Its not as easy as just saying that they just had to tender him and move some other guys around and he would be a starter here. Its just like how the Chargers just have to tender McNeil and Jackson and they have a premier LT and WR starting for them this year. Incognito could have refused to sign the tender and sit until they let him go or try and trade him.

Check your stats NFL.com has the Dolphins with 31 carries for 132 yards that is over 4 yards a carry and 31 rushes is very good. When NFL teams rush the ball more than 30 times they win more often than not. If you can get 4 yards a crack you score a touchdown every time you have the ball that is an excellent stat. The Bills on the other hand got 50 yards on 17 carries= pathetic

There was not a chance in Hell that Incognito was going to sit out an NFL season. You are not talking about a guy who can command a 20 million dollar a year paycheck.

What is really pathetic is that the Bills signed a Miami cast off (Urbik) who was not in the top eight lineman that Miami kept. That means that Miami has eight linemen that they rated better than Urbik! We had their starting guard and for all practical purposes traded that guy for their 9th offensive lineman- their worst lineman, who could not make their team.

It appears that incompetence is still alive and well at one Bills Drive. How many yards did Miami have running the ball down the Bills throats all Day? How many yards did the Bills get running the Ball? The Bills running backs and the Miami running backs are equally talented the edge might even go to the Bills. The difference between the two running games is clearly the offensive lines. Pathetic an incompetent are the words that come to mind.

Urbik was cut by Pittsburgh not Miami. The Dolphins actually put a claim in to sign him but the Bills were higher on the waiver list.

Not that our line doesn't suck.

The Bills FO the past 2 offseasons has set their sites on Hangartner and Green as FAs to bring in. These are two of the worst starting players at their respective positions in the NFL. On top of this they have refused to draft OL on the whole for many years. Its evident to me that who ever is at the top of the ladder in the Bills FO does not believe the OL has any importance to winning football games. Of course we see that they are sadly mistaken, and us as Bills fans are forced to suffer.

Please, please stop with your ignorance. He was on our roster at the end of the season. Under the cba we could have retained his rights by tendering him based on his draft position. We chose not to. That is all you need to know. we thought he didn't fit in.

He didn't, though. He's GOOD.

To paraphrase Bob Lobel...

"Why can't the Bills get players like that?"

I am sick of people not understanding that it takes a player to want to sign with a team as well as a team wanting to sing them. I never heard Incognito speak up saying he wanted to stay in Buffalo.

He was a restricted FA. He had no choice. Read the whole thread. There was no good reason in the world not to bring him back for depth. Or Scott for that matter. This organization is such a clown show.

It does not matter 3.7 yds is a first down every three downs. If we had 130 yds rushing and 30 plus carries we win the game not the Dolphins. Actually from an analysis view 36 running attempts is awesome domination. Teams that run the ball that many times usually win. If you look at the numbers generated by their running backs they averaged over 4 yds a crack that's domination. There were 2 "carries" by Henne which were not really runs and a trick reverse that failed.

Ummmmm, wood and levitre? Wang, callaway? Just because hanger and green are who we ended up with doesn't mean it's who they were targeting.

I'm sick to my stomach, too, but ignoring facts and reality makes you sound as incompetent as the previous front office.

I said it when we let him go. We needed to keep the linemen, especially because at the time we weren't sure when or if Wood would make a complete recovery. Further it would have added meaningful depth to the interior positions, would have allowed us a little leeway to perhaps play Wood at center. Dumb move letting him go.
