I agree. When I read Colemans stats I really wondered how he went undrafted. We need some input from a SEC expert. Hey Cynical, you out there????

Hey that's my thread! I was watching this as we speak. I like the stripper music... plus maybe he will make the bills WIN WIN WIN like the song says.

He was brought up by someone else before me so I can't take all the credit I would give link but too lazy :D

At least what I have heard/read is most scouts don't think he's fast enough or has the acceleration to have sucess like that at the NFL level. Very good college player who could be a backup in the NFL.

As I said in the other thread... he looks fast to me on the highlight reel, but I don't know that that will translate to the next level when tackles are bigger, faster and stronger. I wasn't impressed with his moves, as he pretty much just rushed around the outside and took advantage of tackles poor footwork. I hope I'm just being a "glass is half empty" guy, and I hope he proves me wrong.

He looks fast to me too, however I suppose this is why we aren't scouts, because if all of these scouts decided he wasn't fast enough to even get drafted he probably isn't as fast as he looks. However, I also agree with you in the sense that I hope he proves me wrong...best case he is another UDFA pass rushing OLB ala Harrison

What is this dude's speed clocked at?

40 time. Short shuttle. etc etc etc

Is it just me or does he have some legit speed off the edge????

I like all the young talent being added to the roster for training camp. Let them strap on the pads and see if any of them can play. The Bills need athletic playmakers in the front 7 to help create some turnovers. I'd love to have the D help score some points for them or at least make some stops and give our offense good field position.

Coleman ran a 4.77 and 4.78 at his pro day, he did not run at the combine and only threw up 18 reps on the bench. Here's some analysis on Coleman from NFL.com

Back in the day when there were more than 7 rounds in the draft, this guy would have been drafted. Mike Lodish was a tenth round guy and he lasted 11 seasons in the NFL . . . . .
