He weighs in the 260s, so he can't play DE in a 3 - 4 because he's too small, and he's probably too large to be our pass rushing OLB, and with those relatively low sack totals, I wouldn't want him anyway. I think he could add some weight and be a solid 3-4 DE. Now this is was an exceptional talent for sure, but Bruce Smith mostly played in the 260's and he was a pretty effective 3-4 DE. JPS Posted March 2, 2010 Share Posted March 2, 2010 He'd have to be a lot more consistent to warrant #9. But I must say, he shows an awfully nice inside spin move to complement a powerful edge rush. Looks like he may be a player, but that's in the highlights. I want to know what he was doing on the plays that did not make youtube. Crap on Maybin next year. We know nothing about him yet.
