Okung and Trent Williams

Okung has been listed at 6'5 almost everywhere I've seen. Don't know where 6'8 came from. As for Williams, this is a guy I was never high on anyways. NOT LT MATERIAL!

Williams may not be a LT and I would never spend a 1st rounder on him, but he would solidify the Right Tackle Spot for years. Phil Loadholt, Williams teammate at Oklahoma was a late pick because of his foot speed and height, and has started from day one for the Vikings at the Right Tackle spot.

I've said this before. I'm a Rutgers fan, live 20 minutes from there. Davis is a good athlete. But he gave up sacks this year. He is not a #9 NFL draft pick.

Thank you! From what I've read, Davis is all potential and not so much production. He was benched this season

for being over-weight. I don't know how a team could really spend a high pick and hand $MILLIONS to someone

who is that unmotivated - even if they are supremely talented.

Yea, you can thank Todd McShay for that. No one would be talking about him if not for that third grade weenie

Trent is a good ORT prospect. He won't fall past Round 2. He is one of the few true ORT prospects in the Draft, given that he spent most of his college career there. In truth, Duke and Loadholt were the two "weaknesses" on the Onor Ul OL last year. Texas beat OU because Loadholt couldn't block Orakpo at all.

Beluga is a whale...

Brian Bulaga is an OLT prospect from Iowa.

Jason Smith was the best athlete of the group last year. Yes, he struggled with NFL schemes, but his upside is considerable. Expect him to be better this year if his concussion issue is fixed. He absolutely mauled Orakpo, shut him down completely.

Charles Brown and Rodger Saffold - hope they are available when the Bills have picks ready to spend on them.

I have serious doubts that T. Williams can play RT and pass block well enough to survive. He is not a good enough run blocker to make up the ground you will loose with him as a pass blocker. I am 100% certain no NFL team plans to use him on the left side. I guess we can thank McShay for this clown shoe too. (make that 30 NFL teams. You can never be sure what the Bills or the Raiders plan to do)

with Bulaga's and Anthony Davis' rising.

they're thinking Trent Williams could fall out of the first round, and Okung might fall to the middle of the 1st, or worse.

Okung's problems - not very strong, foot speed not elite (both problems probably stem from him being a little too tall at 6'8)

Trent Williams - his problems are more well known. almost definitely a RT only.

I'll take Okung any day of the week if he's there at #9. He only gave up 1 sack all year long. The guy is going to be a good NFL LT.

scouts had Bulaga #9 previously rated at #27........after his performance against Morgan in the Orange bowl, i new it was going to rise. although Morgan was lined up on the other side most of the time.......Bulaga dominated him when they went head to head.

That right there is the biggest compliment of all. They [GT] were willing to give up the blind side advantage to avoid going against him. GT has a very good staff down there and with all the time to prepare they determined not to really test him. Ill take their knowledge over any one of the Bills scouts thats for sure.

I have loved this kid since I saw him last season.

You can see him man handling Maybin there at the end....

I sorry but there is not a lose lose situation here if the bills do it right......

If none of the top flight tackles are there at 9 then that means a top QB (which is needed) or a top DT (which is needed) or the McClain (which is needed) will be there.......

SOMEBODY that this team needs is going to be there at 9. We have many different needs.

If I had my preference it would be Bulaga........but in all honesty if we walked away from this draft with McClain, Bradford, or Clausen as that 9th pick I would not consider it a loss.

I feel much better about the situation now that Nix is the GM.....he is going to find guys in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rounds that are going to help us.......it may even be a situation where some of those picks go towards a proven starter to help us immediately. I feel much better about the draft this year then I have in previous years.

I agree John. The talent pool for this draft is pretty good overall. I would be fine with Bulaga, but I am still saying if possible and the Bills like him, draft Iupoti. Otherwise, I am all for drafting a guy like Bradford or McClain at #9.
