I remember seeing this kid a couple years ago, a total manchild of an athlete. Great catcher and even better blocker. The Announcers for one Arizona game I saw this year mentioned he could have been a top 10 pikc without the injury - not sure if its true but definately a 1st rounder. Im guessing the injury drops him to the 3rd round at least. Couldnt fined a better youtube vid but he makes a good catch in that one. Reminds me of Jason Witten. I would love him on the Bills.

Good to see another home grown talent going big... I hope his health can hold out. On a side note, its weird to see a kid with a birthday of 1989 going into the league, he was born the year of the bickering Bills..... makes me feel old

I umpired the Gronkowskis at Lou Gehrig for about ten years. You can probably guess who I am now if you grew up playing Lou Gehrig. Older brother Dan played TE at Maryland and is now on the Lions' practice squad. Lou Gehrig rules by the way.

Talk about your multi-sport athletes!

I referreed the Gonkowskis in Amherst hockey for about 8 years...and every single one of them dominated their respective age groups.

I played high school baseball against him, most notably a playoff game my senior year. I remember seeing him gallop through the outfield, he looked as if he could've stepped right over the outfield fence...dude was a monster. When he was up to bat, it looked like he had a toothpick in his hands as a bat. Good for him, I hope he does well in the future.

This guy is going to be a steal for someone in the draft either a late 2nd round pick or a early to mid 3rd round pick. To me this kid is going to be a very good tight end in the NFL. He has good hands and a very good will and capability to block which for a tight end is a rarity these days. I would love for Buffalo to snap up this kid with their 3rd round pick. They have bigger needs BUT tightend is still a need and a combo of Nelson and Gonkowski could be very good and give teams headaches.

Either way I just think that this guy is a buy low sort of situation which is something the Bills really need to take advantage of in the draft.

If I remeber correctly doesn't another brother play fullback and is draft eligible this year as well?

Agree 100%. We need players like him. Reminds me of Witten
