  1. It's fantasy football time, and I'm always interested in hearing the clever Bills-related team names people can come up with. Let's hear your ideas.

    A few I like:

    Brick S***-Hauschka

    *Eff* wit Tre'Day(vious)

    Dr. Poyer & Mr. Hyde

Josh Allen Jumping Over Stuff (or, Stuff Josh Allen Jumped Over)

  2. Had an awesome time with everybody yesterday, despite the outcome of the game. Thanks to everybody who came out. @mead107 and @mrags, you boys were on point with the parking lot cuisine, as always. For @Hammered a Lot to bring Eric Wood by the tailgate definitely added something extra special to the event, and he really seemed to thoroughly enjoy the stromboli.

Thanks, everybody, for making the return of Monday Night Football at the Ralph an amazing event. I can't wait to see you all again next season.

    Go Bills!

Is there a reason this wasn't done already? Seems like a true great should've had his # retired immediately after retirement.

The Bills don't retire jersey numbers much. Thurman, along with many others, has been on the ring of honor for years, but until two or three years ago when 78 was retired, Jim Kelly's 12 was the only one. Now, with the addition of Thurman, only three players in franchise history will have their numbers retired.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who asked the television, "where the hell did he hurt his head?"

The phantom injury play is likely the last play for McCoy as a Bill.

I don't think he's got quit in him, so I'm more inclined to believe that the Bills are just protecting their future 3rd or 4th round pick.

One thing's for damn sure, though .... the whole "McCoy is in concussion protocol," thing is a bunch of crap.

I say that in only the most respectful, affectionate manner. If you watch the replay, you can easily see him come down hard, with his head being the primary and initial point of contact.

I don't see him feigning an injury to get out of playing.

  5. It's been 10 long years since the Monday Night Football crew made their way to Orchard Park. This week, they're back.

I couldn't pass up an opportunity to witness the Ralph in the primetime glow of Monday night. I'm always hopeful, even if uncertain, about the outcome of each game. While the quality of the performance on the field may be a question mark, what is never uncertain is the quality of a Bills fan tailgate at Hammer's Lot. This time, we get all day for eating and, most importantly, drinking before kickoff.

Who'll be at Hammer's lot Monday? Any of the out of town crew making the trip for this one?

I'll be driving in from the Democratic People's Republic on Sunday, and (as usual) rolling into Hammer's lot with @mrags for the pregame festivities on Monday morning.

He tought you about snack cakes, but not about sarcasim? I understood what you were trying to convey. A picture doesnt change the fact that its lame.... (turning sarcasim off for the following:) it was lame the 1st time - certainly not worth doubling down on....

Its like if i told you to stop posting like such a ding dong... ya twinke!

(Ill spare you the pics as you seem to know your snack cakes better than football)

    PS - im NOT exaggerating

Dude, there is no "i" in "sarcasm." Just sayin'...
