I’m not saying I agree with it. But I think your point makes sense. I don’t think the Bills are going to draft a big, tall, physical, contested jump ball kind of guy. Specifically because they recently drafted Shorter and think they have something in him. Right or wrong I believe that’s the case.

IMO, Shorter is replacing Sherfield as a WR 4 or 5 that also plays Special Teams....he’s not replacing Davis as WR2.

I would be happy with Leggette, Worthy, Franklin or Thomas with the Bills first round pick, and hope they pick up another WR during the draft somewhere, assuming most of the rest of the picks will be on the defensive side of the ball.

Johnny Wilson is very interesting. How many guys THAT tall have been a success at the skill position? Surprising he only came away with 2 TDs. In fact, it’s surprising that team got as high as #6 in the rankings with very little output in terms of passing TDs for the season… Coleman was it.

The Bills WR room certainly lacks size and strength....these two prospects solve that, IMO.

I would be banking on increased TD production from Wilson with a guy like Josh Allen throwing him the ball!!

I still see the value of the 1 seed to rest starters week 18 and again a week later for your bye. With all the injuries we had besides Milano, we really could've used it. Just stop under performing against teams we should've handled.  Stop screwing around every year in the middle of the season.

Before the NFL added the extra Wild Card team a few years ago, both the 1 and 2 seed got a first round bye.....that bye would have changed a lot for the Bills vs. the Chiefs, seeing that Bernard and Benford were both injured in the Steelers game....a game the Bills would not have had to play in the old format.....plus, the Bills would have had 2 weeks to prepare for the Chiefs, and the Chiefs would have been playing the game on 6 days rest instead of the Bills playing on 6 days rest.🤬

Pre draft I expected more of a Kelce like player.  I think he is more Mark Andrews than Kelce.  He played way more in line than I expected.  I kind of thought he would play more snaps as an outside WR than he did.

You know this regime likes to bring rookies along slowly, and I'm sure they wanted him to be comfortable playing the TE position in the NFL before expanding his role.

After an offseason in-house with the coaching and training staff, coupled with the experience and quality reps he had in his rookie season, I expect his role in the offense to expand greatly next season.

I haven't read through the whole thread but anyone catch The Curse on Showtime. Very tongue in cheek/dark comedy.

Just finished this last night.......watched it because I like Emma Stone, and remember Nathan Fielder from "Nathan For You".

The episode before the finale set the show up for a dark and intriguing end, but the finale fell flat on its face, IMO.

Of all the ways they could have ended it, it seems they chose the most ridiculously implausible version......such a shame.

I'm not taking away anything from Allen's playoff performances, his numbers have been great. But it's worth nothing the following:

5 wins against the following QB's:

    - Phillip Rivers (his final NFL game, and a guy people are now comparing Allen too in terms of being a QB that can't win the big games in the playoffs)

    - Lamar Jackson (left the game in 3rd quarter due to injury, another guy that also now officially is considered a QB that can't win big games in the playoffs)

    - Mac Jones (on his way to career backup/journeyman)

    - Skyler Thompson (rookie 3rd string QB that nearly won game)

    - Mason Rudolph (3rd string QB thrust into starting lineup because guys ahead him were terrible)

    5 Losses

    - Mahomes x 3 (best QB in NFL, on track to surpass Brady if they win another SB in a few weeks)

    - Burrow (2nd best QB in NFL when healthy and only guy besides Brady to beat Mahomes in postseason game)

    - Deshawn Watson (overtime loss but this one on coaching and was Allen's first playoff game)

Josh played equal to if not better than Mahomes in at least 2 of the 3 losses vs. the Chefs

I would tend to discount the loss to the Texans, as you said, it was his first playoff experience, and they actually had a decent chance to win that game in the end.

The only playoff game that Josh truly played bad was the Bengals game, but truly the entire team stunk it up that day.

  7. In 10 career playoff games, Josh Allen has:

    Passer rating of 100.0

    64.6 completion percentage

2,723 yards passing, 21 touchdowns and 4 interceptions

    563 rushing yards and 5 TD's

That sounds like the stat line of a multiple Super Bowl Champion..............screw you, Kansas City!!!

Forgot about Kincaid and Torrence. Both of them are already stars. Great picks

I hope Beane can replicate last year’s success in round 1 and 2.....this time with an impact player at WR, and another impact player on the defensive side of the ball.

Not auto correct......it’s a thing, but I can’t take credit for creating it.

I think it goes back to an advertisement on a train that separated Super Bowl into Superb Owl between two train cars....and it caught on from there.

I had the time to look it up, and found a picture:
