Man - If this isn’t a testament to how remarkable his comeback was.  I can’t believe he was able to play football again on that leg.  What a heroic story and effort of determination after one of the most gruesome injuries in the sports history.  Hats off to him 👏

Man.....I wonder what kind of pain he is going to be in when he is in his 50's, 60's, 70's??

  3. The sports leagues are in partnership with these gambling sites.....they are making money just like the gambling companies....... the 9 year old kid whose father blows the rent money betting the under on Chiefs/Texans is the one who will be ruined.

Openly encouraging gambling is akin to having commercials on TV promoting Heroin......they make all the money, not for one second thinking about the victims that are left in their wake.

Sure there are people who can handle a little harmless fun betting on sports, but spare a thought for the people who have an addiction to gambling and especially their family members who suffer the consequences of those people's actions.

  4. It's pretty nice when your team is so stacked, they can use draft picks on highly specific needs........like in this case, 3rd TE in Goal Line situations.

Maybe they also hope he can develop enough to take the TE2 position when Knox's contract runs out, or becomes too much for the strained salary cap to handle.

I've been here a VERY long time. My first connections were with a dial-up 9600 baud modem in Summer of 1996. My previous user names were lost when SDS upgraded the forum software.

There were (are) some real characters back in the early days. I remember some trolls named Combo, Ice, and maybe a HogBoy. They have thankfully disappeared. Of course, who can forget the infamous Belinda.

Wasn't there someone named "I eat crayonz" that used to rile people up back in the day??

  6. These might be a little bit obscure.

The first one reads as a bad breakup song, but I think it can also apply to the passing of an important person in your life:

The second one reads more as a "my life sucks because of you" song:

  7. Tua Turntheballova for sure.

Weak arm......made of glass.....too small.....one head shot away from his brain being swiss cheese.

Dak is overrated because he is on the Cowboys......if he was on any other team, he would hardly be mentioned, IMO.

  8. Let's get a little melancholy, people.

    What's your favorite sad song??

It doesn't have to be a typical sad song, but if it's not, you have to give us a little bit of the reason why it is a sad song to you.

I'll get it started with an easy one:

Oh Jesus, you saw that calf pop he’s done. Serious injury. 🥺

Man, you really could see it.......snapped like a rubber band😧

Guy was playing with fire by going out there with that calf strain. You absolutely hate to see it

Kevin Durant had the same thing happen when he was on the Warriors. The guy is trying to win a championship......gotta give him props for trying even though it probably will also cost him most if not all of next season

Ugh such bull**** for that to happen in the last game of a magical playoff run for the Pacers. Awful.

Loved how Halliburton was standing on crutches waiting for his teammates to come back to the locker room after the game......hugged each and every one of them.......that's some leadership and character right there.

    Torrence for me.

Love the big dudes that just play, play well and do the dirty work.

Thankfully for the Bills, he dropped to the 2nd round because he "was just a guard" and didn't have position flexibility...... the guy is on a path to be an All Pro Guard....the rest of the league's loss is the Bills gain on that one!

Love the O-line as a whole....best unit on the team after QB.

As for the Defense, a pre-injury Matt Milano was the Josh Allen of the D......really hope he can stay healthy this year.

Hahaha. Stupid comment, but in some ways he is right lol.

Playing conservative worked really well UNTIL that last meeting on November 1st.

Bills always played light boxes and Mcdaniel finally learned how to beat it by sticking to the run that last game.

Mcdermott will have to be more aggressive the next time we play them, as I do think Mcdaniel finally figured it out.

Lets hope Maxwell Hairston and his 4.28 speed will allow the Bills to be more aggressive.

His last good play that I remember was that pick six against the bills in the game we came back down 17-0

After he got hurt and did not play in the second half......it was like night and day once he was out of the game.

  13. I have to admit that I didn't expect Indiana to win tonight, but they continue to impress.......it is a tall order to win a Game 7 on the road, but anything seems to be possible with this team.

If they hadn't blown Game 4, this could've been a closeout game......

    Looking forward to Sunday night!!

I don’t follow Lamar that closely to know his party schedule. To me that’s an indicator of work ethics and commitment, not intelligence. I do know it’s not easy playing qb in the NFL. He’s been the qb of a superbowl contending franchise for multiple years. I’ll disagree with you about him not being smart.

The fact that you assumed my comment about not being a typical qb was about race is very revealing. I meant not typical in a sense of pocket passer with elite arm talent and not much athleticism to run. But you went straight to race.

Again......I didn't assume anything....I said "I'm not sure if"......do you know the meaning of the word assume??

It seems like you are just looking to argue for the sake of arguing.... if you don't agree with me, you are entitled to your own opinion.

If you want to think a guy who scored a 13 out of 50 on his Wonderlic test score (Josh Allen scored a 37 out of 50) is a smart guy...than that's your right.....my end of this argument has come to a conclusion. Have a wonderful aftetnoon!!
