    Survivor

I actually watched the first season of Survivor...it was alright, but I didn't see the need to watch it again.

I have never watched most of these reality competition shows like Amazing Race, American Idol, Bachelorette, X factor, etc.

However, I do watch MTV's The Challenge(watched it since the beginning), and my summertime guilty pleasure Big Brother(no Football, Basketball, Hockey going on when its on in the Summer).

It's funny reading everyone's responses, and realizing I haven't seen 80% of the shows mentioned either!

Atlanta could be a force in that weak division.  They still got some money after the Cozens signing and 5 picks in the Top 79 this draft.

A WR with their 8th is a big possibility now.

London, Odunze, Pitts, Bijan, and Cousins in a dome would be one potent Offense

  3. Probably won't be on the Bills radar, since he would not take a pay cut to stay in SF, why would he take a team friendly deal with the Bills.

He was a really good player, but I think he is on the decline....still a solid piece of a DL rotation if he came at the right price.

49ers reportedly plan to release DL Arik Armstead after he declined 'significant' pay cut

    Jason Owens

    Staff writer

The San Francisco 49ers intend to release defensive lineman Arik Armstead after the two sides failed to agree on a restructured contract, according to multiple media reports.

Per NBC's Matt Maiocco, Armstead declined to take "a significant pay cut" to his scheduled salary of $17.4 million next season on the final year of his five-year, $85 million contract. He'll hit the market as a free agent.

NFL's free agency period officially starts Wednesday. News of Armstead's pending release arrives before the Monday start of the so-called tampering period that allows teams and pending free agents to negotiate.

Armstead, 30, has played his entire nine-season NFL career with the 49ers. He's been a key piece of San Francisco's pass rush and started for two teams that advanced to the Super Bowl. He was the longest-tenured player on the team.

Armstead signed his $85 million deal following the 2019 season that saw him tally a career-high 10 sacks. In the four seasons since, he totaled 14.5 sacks, including his five-sack campaign in 2023. He also tallied 27 tackles, 13 quarterback hits and four tackles for loss in 12 games. He recorded six tackles and a sack of Patrick Mahomes in February's Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Armstead's contract was scheduled to count $28.4 million against San Francisco's salary cap next season. Depending on how and when it's designated, his release reportedly could open up anywhere from $2.5 million to $18 million in cap space.

Per The Athletic's Dave Lombardi, the latter option would require a post-June 1 release designation, an unlikely scenario given that Armstead's release is reportedly pending. A release ahead of free agency would net the 49ers $2.5 million in cap space.

The 49ers need as much help as they can get with the cap if they intend to make any moves in free agency. Per Spotrac, they're scheduled to enter free agency $3.4 million over the cap, a number that's calculated without considering Armstead's release. The 49ers have other significant decisions to make on the defensive line, including with trade-deadline acquisition Chase Young.

I'm not sold on Chop. I don't like it.

Maybe we are having Aaron Maybin flashbacks.

As I said before, I would much rather have a 1st round WR than an Edge rusher, but in that particular mock, all the top receivers including Worthy and Mitchell were off the board....I hope that isn’t the case in the real draft!!

  5. This board would explode(myself included) if the Bills don't take a WR in the first 2 rounds, but if they pick one up in FA this would be a good first two rounds:

    28. Chop Robinson EDGE Penn State

    60. Kris Jenkins DT Michigan

  6. In my Curb Your Enthusiasm thread, I received a response from one of our esteemed posters that he had never seen an episode of the show.

That inspired me to start a topic asking what famous or popular TV series have you never watched??

Here are a few of mine:

    Game of Thrones

    The West Wing

    Will and Grace

Honorable Mention: I didn't watch Breaking Bad until after the series was complete(watched it on Netflix).

    What are some of yours??

It’s odd, and also a bit curious, but I’ve never seen a single episode. I don’t know how I’ve never checked it out.  🤷‍♂️

You have inspired me to start a topic titled: "Successful/Famous TV series that you have never watched".

I can think of three or four series off the top of my head that I have never seen a single episode.....might be interesting to see some of the responses.👍

  8. Floyd, Epenesa, Settle, Phillips, Jones and Lawson.

You have got to think at least one or two of these guys come back.

Floyd will not be back for less money.....he has no loyalty to the Bills as he only played here for one year.

Epenesa and Jones will be interesting to watch because I am sure the Bills would want these two back on team friendly deals, but they could probably command more money elsewhere....we will see what is most important to them.

I would put Settle, Phillips and Lawson in a category marked "back only if the Bills want them back"....I think Phillips and Lawson are good depth players who are "Buffalo guys" and would want to be back.....they also bring much needed attitude and energy to the defense.

In the end, I think the Bills will end up signing DaQuan Jones, Phillips and Lawson.

    What do you think??

  9. Beane got such a bloodthirsty taste for releasing players, when he was done he started taking out people who aren't even on the team but whose last names are close to the players he just released......first it was Hardy, then Porter, then Morris, then Wright......

  10. Bills now have enough draft picks to move up in both the 2nd and 3rd rounds, so I went for the Texas double-dip!

    28. Xavier Worthy WR Texas

    52. T'Vondre Sweat DT Texas

He's 9m on the books if he isn't extended. Tre is 16.4. Even with a restructure of Tre, that's a LOT of money to be paying for CB. Doubly so when you have a VERY good ascending CB who's development is paramount (as he is the present and the future at CB) in Benford that you also want to keep on the field. It's not possible to start all 3.

I'm not even taking into account the 1st Rounder we hope will turn things around after he is fully healthy and the firing of the DB's coach that butted heads with him. Or the situation we're in capwise v. The holes we have to replace. We can lose one of White or Douglas and still be good at CB. Meanwhile, we need starters at WR, DE, DT (of which we have a grand total of 1 on the roster), and S (probably both).

You're entitled to your opinion. But my opinion has always been that it would be Douglas and Benford with Elam as the first man up on the  Outside with Johnson as the Nickel or White/Benford/Johnson/Elam as our top 4 guys.

And in watching and listening to Beane talk, it's my belief that Douglas. You can disagree, but to me it's fairly obvious something has to give at CB for the sake of the rest of the roster.

I'd like to see a move to Safety for Douglas......I think he would be excellent at the position, and it would remove one of the holes the Bills would have to fill on D.

  12. I have enjoyed the season so far.....lots of laughs from me during these first few episodes!

Loved the Seinfeld callback in tonight’s episode...”Take the pen!!.....Take the pen!!”(the Astronaut Pen episode)

Also, did anyone notice that Larry said he could go to jail for one year if he is found guilty in his case??

Do you think Larry is going to end Curb in the same way Seinfeld ended???

Looking forward to the rest of the season!!

I don't know enough about college prospects but if the brass loves a guy way more than the other options left, say Brian Thomas as an example, I'm good with giving up a fourth and maybe a third to get him. We should have an extra third because of Edmunds, right?

The Bills used their second third round pick in the Rasul Douglas trade, so they only have one third round pick

If we want Thomas we're gonna have to move up period. No question

If you want speed, it's Worthy hands down.  4.25 Josh should not be able to out throw him.

    Now its 4.22.....yes please!!

    28. Xavier Worthy WR Texas
