Were there ANY positives on ST's tonight???
Good God... A missed FG, a Kick Off kicked OB, a blocked Punt, a long KO return allowed, a fumbled Punt return...What is that, the cycle for bad ST's play in a Game??? If only the onsides Kick had been returned by Indy for a TD, it could have been a clean sweep of poor ST's play...
Brutal...

Oh please...not that again...I'm no Drew Backer, but I wince at the thought of DB having one bad Game and here come the chants of Flutie! Flutie!
Granted he and Vick are the 2 QB's out there with the scrambling ability our O-Line requires...but no thanks...

I think it was 49 yards. Wide Right, AVP said it was close...a couple feet wide...

Based on His Post Game interview, I'd say it's better than 50/50 Milloy plays vs. J-Ville. He's having it operated on to install a plate tomorrow AM (Lawyer said they already told him he could not eat after Midnight due to the surgery tomorrow). I think with 2 weeks, and some kind of protective cast, he'll play. But he won't be 100% and the problem will mainly be wrapping when he tackles. Still, a 80% Milloy figures to be better than the alternative...
Milloy definitely said he will be preparing as if he's Starting vs. J-Ville...We'll see soon...

That's the thing in a nutshell...
The QB the Bills bring in will more than likely be a Cut in the next 2 weeks...
A before-last-cut Trade is always a possibility too, but I have no idea who may be available...

Well...That would be best case scenerio times 1000...
One could easily argue that regardless of his advanced age, Gannon is a better fit behind this O-line due to his mobility than Bledsoe anyway...That's not a knock on Drew, let's face it, a more mobile QB means a healthier QB with this bunch Blocking...
Though I'm not sure even the Mighty Midget is a good enough scrambler to make this O-Line look decent...

Well...O.K. the Bills did add an all new Coaching Staff on Offense...That's a good thing...
But what else is different? They add McGahee who is basically a Rookie back-up, and Evans a Rookie WR...They replace R. Brown with Chris Villarrial on the Line...
They add the future at QB in Losman, but we all know that's not going to help right now...
This is a Players League, always has been, always will be...The Bills simply do not have the Players on the O-Line to do what they want to do on Offense...They now have 2 injured Back-up QB's (granted JP's injury had nothing to do with the O-Line), and if Bledsoe was not such an ironman as far as health is concerned, I'm sure he would not be far behind...
Playing behind this line is the definition of "High Risk Occupation." The Bills are still waiting for Williams and Sullivan to reach their potential, meanwhile Defenders continue to run around them and kill our QB's...We are Starting a Road FA at LG, and the back-up's are average at best...Jennings is a decent Starter, when He's healthy that is...
Personally I can't really understand why the Bills did not try to upgrade the O-Line more this Off Season. There were Vet UFA's like Todd Steussie available this Off Season for a song and the Bills passed on all but Villarrial. They seem to believe McNally is a miracle worker, but it's tough to make anything positive out of this rag-tag bunch...

Amazing...THIS is Pre Season Football...
Ugly...Fumbles, poor ST's Play, Sacks...
How about P. Manning's numbers - 11/20, 148 yards, 0 TD's and 2 INT's...
Still some work to do before Opening Day. That is for certain...

The thing about Tim Couch that continues to shock me is how little his play has improved from his Rookie year in 99. Since then he's thrown 49 TD's to 54 INT's, and has a QB Rating around 76...
Not exactly the progress you want to see from the #1 Pick Overall...
I wonder how different it would be in Cleveland today had they taken McNabb? But Couch seems broke right now. He's going to have to get a little humble, and find someone (or some Team) who can help. Not so sure a guy with Couch's obvious confidence problems should be anywhere near Green Bay, pre or post Favre. That does not seem like a good match at all...

Mort also said that no matter when RW comes back, he faces a minimum 4 Game Suspension, and will likely have to appeal in order to avoid an indefinite Suspension. Due to the fact that he retired after his 3rd failed test, Ricky basically opted out of the NFL manditory Drug Testing program. So Mort says that for now, that counts as another failed test which means indefinite Suspension pending appeal. Mort also said that Ricky's phone conversation with the Fish was mostly about wanting more money and less carries, which appearently pissed the Fish off even more...
Got to admit...it's fun to follow this story... B)

I'll go with Pat Williams...
How about Kenneth Davis as All Time most underappreciated Bills Player? Just a thought...

Mort just said he's done with the Fish regardless...Those bridges have been burned and the Fish will likely Trade his rights after this Season according to CM.

Great Stuff!!!
The Banjo loving Stewie really cracked Me up last night... "I feel so delightfully White Trash."

Well...if it's not the funniest, it's Top 10! I could not believe they pulled that show when they did. I guess the DVD sales made FOX change it's mind...

I was just thinking the same thing...Not about going to the Game, but about how excited I WAS about seeing JP Play these next two weeks...
Granted it was looking like JP was heading for #3 on the Depth Chart regardless, but in no way do I feel this will be good for him or the Bills. At the very least JP would have been out there running the Scout Team and making our Defense work hard every week. He's a young guy, so in the long term this is really not a major setback. But the Kid was looking great, and I would have loved to see his development stay on the 100% healthy path...
Oh well...
What QBs are available????

I believe his release had to do with (at least partially) an injury he suffered in NFL Europe... I would imagine if he was 100% the Boys would have kept him around knowing QC was a test away from a multiple game suspention...
Not sure if the injury is still a factor, but no one has picked him up yet so...
