I want our offensive minded coach to put Jackson at running back, he won the job last year and is much better than Lynch. Put Spiller in the slot and use him like Welker. Design some new routes for Evans to get the ball in his hands on a regular basis whether it be screens, short slants or quick passes at the snap. Move him around the field to different spots. Ensure he gets the ball regularly, period. Thats a start. Defense needs to go back to 4-3 and send blitzers and put some pressure on the QB. If we get burned, so be it, we need to be competitive. This defense is way too passive...

i'm wondering if Trent maybe showed a bad or indifferent attitude during the Pats game. Maybe Gailey wanted him to be more involved with Fitz etc and didn't get that from Trent. Perhaps this is why he was let go.....

Why do we care?

I could care less about wins and losses in the pre-season. But, I do want to see some hint of progress and maybe some competitive play. They look a lot like last years bills being outhustled, outplayed and seem to be the dumber team. The bills don't make me wanna shout they make me roll my eyes a lot. I hope to see a little more competitiveness and some effort in trying to be a better team.

Could you use a portable dish like the vuqube and put it by a window??

I guess nature has a way of dealing with a variety of things. I think they call it natural selection or only the strong survive. While I feel for these people they do not have any formal rights to aid from anybody but themselves. Whatever happened to individual responsibility? That's a term being phased out of our language very quickly. In the past, lazy people were punished with a meager lifestyle and existence. Now, we provide mucho "benefits" and "entitlements" to the lazy and unmotivated. Need more cash - have another baby....Didn't work enough for Social Security? no problem we'll give you SSI. Are you unfortunately physically healthy and able to work but don't want to - no problem we have a myriad of designer mental health conditions such as depression, moodiness, stress etc, etc etc to ensure you get the money you are "entitled to"... This whole structure is beginning to crumble as there are too many people getting hand-outs who don't work and that number gets larger every year... We're doomed....

Consider this - If he had not been caught would he still be doing all that garbage? I believe the answer is yes. Michael Vick is sorry Michael Vick got caught- period. Ok, he paid for his crime as required by the legal system but that doesn't take away the fact that he is/was predisposed to such ugly activity. The man is still the same as before he was caught. One time after I had finished dinner at Salvatores Italian Gardens, I approached the after dinner candy mint bowl when this fella that looked a lot like ML pushed me aside and proceeded to take TWO heaping spoonfuls of candy mints. Sounds like a real BS charge to me. I don't believe he needs to steal $20.00 from anybody for anything. If anything, he was probably joking and was going to put the meal on his tab.. Exactly. We'll pay him well during his on the job training period while he's contributing nothing to the team. If or when he becomes good enough and a productive player, then we'll send him to another team who'll reap the fruits of our labor......Great pick - glad we had the luxury to waste it on a project who probably will never help us...

Brohm looked very good to me. He had touch on the short passes. Had velocity on the ball. Demonstrated an above average arm. Appeared poised in the pocket. Passes were accurate other than the long bombs that he missed. Imagine what he should be able to do with more experience and practice, some good coaching and some improved OL play.....I am impressed with what I saw .....

I don't blame Shanahan for turning down the Bills. They only offered about 10 million per year, total control and probably a piece of the team. He surely deserves much much more.............Hope he falls on his face wherever he chooses to go..

Look at the difference in OL play when Rob Johnson was behind center vs when Flutie was QB. I recall the line looking terrible with RJ giving up multiple sacks per game. Flutie enters and the sack total went down dramatically. So a good QB helps the OL and vice-versa....
