Are that many people really good with Tarvaris Jackson "mentoring" a rookie QB?

He did beat us on a game-winning drive last year...it would basically be the same thing he did in Tennessee. He would work with a rookie for a few years.

Same story for the last 3 years for the Dolphins (except last year when we spent too). At the end of the season they're always right with us in the standings though. The Bills have their issues but I am honest to God sick of hearing about Miami and how much they spent.

Seriously, I know Levitre is a good player but where did the premise come from that our line will magically fall apart without him? Like Glenn, Wood and Urbik will all of a sudden not be good players anymore? The receivers thing is an issue and probably is what legitimately what's going on. It'll be tough to fill those offensive skill positions with a QB.

Is it really though or is it just a rehash of the same thread that's popped up 20 times a day since Tuesday? You can only slightly change the wording on the same ideal so many times.

I'm not buying the Fins as legitimate competition to the Pats. As much as I hate to say it the Pats seem poised to breeze to another division title.

I'd say you don't become relevant by winning free agency. If you did we'd already be relevant.

Hmmm I guess some names would have been nice. I've heard Devito and Delanie Walker were courted by the Bills to some degree but not much else.

Between Reggie Mckenzie and Andy Levitre, which was the point that I was responding to.

I'd say that Jim Richter was better as well. Come to think of it they were both much better than Levitre IMO. Not that Levitre is a bad player but both those guys were top 2-3 at their positions in their primes.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I see this similar to Clements leaving...good player to have but at times you have to make tough decisions when players are looking to cash in on those big contracts. One thing about the Nix regime is that they have retained their guys over the past few years, Levitre is the first guy they've really let walk, so I'll reserve judgment until it starts becoming a trend.
